Here at the RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch we’re all passionate about animals. Whether they’re big or small, young or old - we want to help as many as we can!
As a small and independent branch of the RSPCA that only cover Northamptonshire, we are responsible for raising all of our own funds. The money that we raise through our charity shops, fundraising events, grants and public donations enables us to fund the vital work we carry out to save animals that have been neglected, mistreated or subjected to cruelty.
We do not have our own veterinary team so we work with local vets to ensure that each of our animals receives the treatment they require for any injuries or health problems, as well as ensuring they are vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, flea and worm treated before they are rehomed.
We are also passionate about education at the branch, with regards to responsible pet ownership and neutering – after all, children are the pet owners of the future and if we can educate them at a young age we hope this will reduce the number of cruelty incidents against animals in the future.
We run charity shops within Northamptonshire that bring in the money to pay for our branch costs and rescue animals.
Without donations from members of the public, we would not be able to carry out our vital work, providing animals with their second chance in life.
